Forza attachments, NL-series electrics, Brasseler turbines — rebuilt to spec on the same bench that handles their NSK cousins every week.

You get a free written quote before any work, 2–3 business days on the bench, and nationwide mail-in from Colorado Springs. Nothing moves forward until you approve the quote.

Why Brasseler Owners Trust Us

Set a Forza attachment next to an NSK Ti-Max and the family resemblance is hard to miss — and that is good news for repairs. Brasseler’s handpieces are built to the same tight-tolerance pattern we rebuild every week on our NSK bench: proven internals, well-understood wear points, and parts that have to be matched exactly, not approximately. Your Forza is not a mystery instrument to us — it is part of 23,000 repairs for 400+ dental practices nationwide.

The Bench Standard

What We Check on Every Brasseler

Every Brasseler that crosses the bench gets the same four checks — because these are the four places a Brasseler quietly goes wrong. Pass all four and it ships; fail any one and you get a written quote before we touch it.

Chuck Grip Force

A chuck that still holds the bur can still hold it wrong. We measure grip force on every handpiece — bur creep under side load is the first sign of a chuck on its way out.

Concentricity

The bur has to run dead-true. We verify run-out after every rebuild — on a 1:5 attachment, a few microns of wobble at the head becomes chatter in the prep.

Torque Under Load

Free-spinning on the bench proves nothing. Electrics and attachments are tested under load, because torque fades long before the noise starts.

Spray & Water Ports

Blocked ports cook burs and teeth alike. Every rebuild ships with ports cleared and the spray pattern checked under working pressure.

Failing a check is not a verdict — it’s a quote. If the chuck measures soft, run-out is outside tolerance, torque drops under load, or a port stays blocked, the handpiece stops right there and you get a written figure before anything further is opened. Nothing is guessed at over the phone, and nothing is replaced that the bench did not flag. Anything that does pass goes back under the same 6-month parts and labor warranty — whether it was a $129 turbine rebuild or a full electric attachment.

Bench Notes

Common Brasseler Issues We Fix

Six failures cover most of what reaches the bench from Brasseler owners. Tap the markers on the handpieces above, and expand any card below for what we actually do about it.

Chuck Slip

Burs slide or spin in the chuck mid-prep, even after cleaning.

The bur seats but creeps or walks under side load — felt as chatter before you ever hear it. We restore chuck grip to spec with the turbine, never as an afterthought.

Bearing Whine

A rising whine or grinding note that gets louder every week.

A rising pitch at speed means the bearings are eating themselves. We replace bearings as a matched set with new O-rings — a single-bearing swap is a repair that comes back.

Torque Fade

Feels fine free-running but bogs down the moment it touches tooth.

On NL-series electrics and Forza attachments, power fades before anything sounds wrong. Gear trains and motor bearings are rebuilt as needed and verified under load against spec.

Spray Drift

Water misses the bur, sprays sideways, or barely trickles out.

Water that will not sit on the bur cooks the prep. Ports are cleared and the spray pattern is checked under working pressure on every rebuild — not just when you mention it.

Autoclave Corrosion

Sticky buttons, rough surfaces, and pitting after years of sterilization cycles.

Sterilization is brutal on seals and springs. Corroded internals get replaced, not polished, and we will tell you honestly if the head itself is past saving.

Dim Optics

Fiber optics that have faded to a dim yellow glow at the prep site.

A yellowing or dim light field usually means fiber optic wear, not a dying bulb. We assess the optics on every fiber optic model and quote the fix honestly before touching it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you repair Brasseler high-speed, low-speed and electric handpieces?

Yes — all three, plus Forza attachments and lab handpieces. Every repair ships back with a full 6-month parts and labor warranty and a free written estimate up front. We send a free prepaid USPS label, return by UPS or FedEx, and bench time is 2–3 business days.

Aren't Brasseler handpieces basically NSK handpieces?

They are close relatives — the Forza line is built to the same tight-tolerance pattern as NSK’s, and that is exactly why we are comfortable with them: the internals and wear points are territory we work in every week. Close relative or not, parts still have to be matched to your specific model, and that is what we do.

My Forza attachment vibrates — should I keep using it?

No. Vibration in a speed-increasing attachment means the gear train or bearings are wearing, and on a 1:5 that shows up in the prep before anything else. Set it aside and send it in — catching it early keeps the rebuild on the affordable end.

What does the warranty cover?

Every Brasseler repair carries a full 6-month parts and labor warranty covering the components we replaced and the labor to fit them. If something is not right when it arrives back, reach us through our contact page and we will make it right. If a handpiece cannot be economically repaired, there is no repair charge — a flat $29 covers shipping and handling and it comes back to you.

How long will I be without it?

2–3 business days on the bench, plus carrier transit each way on the prepaid label — figure about a week door to door for most practices.
